Australia and India will clash in a three-match ODI series this month as they gear up for the ICC World Cup 2023 in October-November.

The Australian team sees the return of several important players, including skipper Pat Cummins.

In a massive boost, Australia will have the services of Glenn Maxwell, who missed the South Africa tour after aggravating his ankle injury while training ahead of the T20I series and then flew back home for the birth of his child.

Meanwhile, India have recalled veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin while also naming two separate squads for the ODI series. He last played an ODI match for India in January 2022.

KL Rahul will lead the side in the first two games with regular skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli rested. The duo will return for the final ODI with Rohit leading the side again.
